Help With Installing Themes
Installing FrontPage themes is
generally pretty easy. Often, the themes come in a self-installing package, so
all you need to do is run the setup file, close FrontPage, open it again, and
the themes will be there. Some other themes are contained in a zip file. These
you must install yourself. Here is what you need to do once you download the file:
1. Open the zip file
2. Unzip all the files
(using a program such as Winzip, which can be found at http://www.winzip.com)
FrontPage 2000 -
C:/Program Files/CommonFiles/Microsoft
Shared/Themes/*/
FrontPage 98 -
C:/Program Files\Microsoft Front Page/Themes/*/
*(insert name of folder for
theme here)
Note: unzip each theme to a
seperate folder and make sure that the name of the folder is the name of
the .elm file
3. Open Microsoft FrontPage
4.
Apply
the Theme
For
FrontPage 2000 - Apply the theme by going to the
Format menu and selecting 'Theme'.
For FrontPage
98 - Apply the theme by going to the
themes view and selecting it.
